Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training, its health benefits, and meditation.
Whether you are just starting in the art or have levels of experience, there is much to be learned from a Tai Chi course. Eric teaches in a class format to make everyone of all ages feel comfortable and make it a relaxing and friendly environment. If you are looking to get health benefits while relaxing your mind and body, this is the class for you.
Eric will guide you through a class to relax your mind and body. This anicent art shows you how to connect with your chi and bring out all the benefits that come with it. This art is meant to get anyone moving with slow sutle moves to keep your joints moving and healthy. Doing these exorcises even a couple times a week can help you move better and feel better.
A Typical Class
The class starts with Eric making sure everyone has enough room to do the techniques for the day. He will put on music to get the mind to relax and set the pace of the exorcise. Now that mind is ready, he will move into opening preparation to get the body ready. After opening preparation he will teach new techniques and maybe move onto some new ones, depending on the skill level of the people in the class. A typical class will last 1 hour.
Tai Chi is taught Tuesday and Thursday at 2pm and again on Saturday at 9am.
