Mat brings his 35+ years of martial arts experience to the world of MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing. He has been training fighters over the past 25+ years and was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2011.

Izzy Ares-Maldonado
Izzy use his Shotokan experience and Mats instruction to helps his students achieve their goals by helping them practice their techniques the proper way.

Andy Falenski
Andy has competed in many MMA/kickboxing contests and holds a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
Class Description

Our MMA, Boxing, and Kickboxing classes focus first on cardio to keep up your endurance, and then move onto practicing basic and advanced fighting techniques. Using our in house boxing ring and sparing with other students give you the real feel of being engaged in the sports. Constant support from all instructors closely watching help you improve your methods and techniques. Learn to be a Champion!
Class benefits
Improve your endurance, increases your speed, hand-eye coordination, builds confidence, and balance. Learn top strategies and techniques used by amateur and pro fighters.
A Typical Class
Starting with cardio, moving onto jumping rope, learn to shadow box, learn to hit the heavy bags, focus mitts drills, then moving up to sparing with other students. The class last about 2 hours.
Schedule
Shotokan has junior classes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
